This is a proposal for an invited competition. Embedded in the golden era of general optimism, the existing building is the Greek pinnacle of retail experience and Grand Magasin. A place for endless renewal and abundant possibilities, within a unique address renowned for its warm carousal of lights, festivities, and illuminated pedestrian corners. After being unoccupied over the past decade, the regeneration of Minion offers a unique opportunity to transform and rejuvenate an entire neighbourhood in the heart of Athens.

Encompassing five buildings, the complex accommodates a wide spectrum of usage, the street level provides brand and retails experiences with a gross leasable area of 5826 m². On the third and fourth level, the workspaces are designed to facilitate multiple lease scenarios as well as potential future program conversion, ensuring ling-term sustainability. The upper floors are home to state-of-the-art duplexes apartments with balconies running along the facades. On the rooftop, the penthouse offers unparalleled views to the cityscape, flooded with natural light, high-end finishes and amenities, and a lavish outdoor pool.
