This nine-room boutique hotel is located in Imerovigli, a traditional Cycladic village on the island of Santorini.
Its position overlooking Santorini's spectacular caldera affords unbroken views of this unique volcanic landscape, with the sheer cliffs below contrasting with the endless blue horizon of the sea.
The existing building was renovated using subtle architectural interventions to allow the extraordinary landscape to take centre stage. The view is framed in the bedroom windows, bringing natural light, local colour, and layers of history indoors. Crisp, all-white interiors mirror the trademark whitewashed houses of the Cyclades. The common areas provide a contemporary take on traditional island architecture: economy of space, bold simplicity, and smooth curves designed to blend in with the contours of the terrain.
The hotel is currently being expanded with an adjacent wing that will contain an additional twelve rooms and a spa.
