Doryssa Seaside Resort in Pythagorio, Samos has already completed the first phase of its two year renovation project including the renovation of the 125 Village rooms, reception, lobby and restaurant areas. The clients' main aim was to upgrade all accommodation and facilities areas.
Doryssa Village consists of 55 houses, originally designed to resemble the Island's traditional architecture. The Village houses are scattered between terraces, courtyards, pedestrian lanes and gardens, creating a unique and tranquil vacation experience.
The architects redesigned the interior of the whole village using modern geometry and materials. Custom furniture designed especially for the Resort merges with pieces of contemporary design and innovating materials such as resin panels and resin floors that were used in an attempt to freshen up the Village's atmosphere and combine in a much more creative way elements of traditional architecture with a more sophisticated rooms interior.
