This three-storey building comprising four apartments, one three-storey flat and two commercial spaces on street level is located in a modest residential area in Patra, in a small corner plot of 206m2 with a limited view of the town port towards the west.
The building rises in ex-industrial surroundings recently under development.
The main volume is divided in two parts and a central atrium is created to provide lighting to each apartment. The two concrete elements and the glass volume of the atrium are combined under a continuous rooftop. The three-storey flat exceeds the rooftop with a metal roof structure - reminding the metal structures of the surrounding buildings.
External walls are dark brown color painted and all the elements exceeding the main volume are constructed of exposed concrete. Metallic beams and glass are used to form the balcony boundaries.
