This residence is near the port of Piraeus, a district
that still bears the architectural scars of its industrial
past. The apartment was treated as a unified space
without dividing walls to reflect the residents’
requirements: freedom of movement, a clear visual
perspective, and flexible spaces for multiple uses.
The pronounced oblong floor plan is underlined
by a system of sliding doors, which conceal the fitted
kitchen, bookshelves, and wardrobes. The transparent
entrance hall dissolves the boundaries
between inside and out.
