Covering an entire block, this four-storey building
is comprised of 30 apartments with commanding
sea views. The apartment block is articulated
as a system of linear features running through
the length of the plot, which accentuate the sense
of movement along the waterfront highway
by deviating slightly from the site’s perimeter.
Vertical elements such as staircases and balconies
slash through the lateral lines like blades, creating
privacy and drama. Visual continuity with the landscape
is created by blurring the boundaries between interior
and exterior spaces.
