Exhibition 14 F/21 GR
Divercity are taking part in the exhibition
‘14 F/21 GR: Young architects in Greece and
France’, at the Benaki Museum, Athens, from
the 8th February to the 24th March 2012.
The exhibition presents the work of 35 young
architects/architecture practices in France and
Greece. It records a broad range of spatial narratives concerning both urban and natural landscapes, and reveals a common overlap in approach towards the design of contemporary architecture in both countries.

Invitation from Heineken
Heineken has invited Divercity to design
a temporary hybrid installation- a spatial,
material and virtual, experience-
that will be part of a bigger event designed
for Heineken’s best clients in Athens.
The installation will be placed on the roof
terrace of Intercontinental Hotel, one
of the most central and renown hotels
in Athens, situated on one of the busiest
avenues connecting the centre
of the city to the sea, for four months,
between May and September 2010.

for the Piranesi Awards. The award
for best architectural achievement
is bestowed annually by the Piranesi
Foundation. All candidates are selected
by national committees and their work

International Ideas Competition, “Building for Bouwkunde”
Divercity entered a competition to design
a new School of Architecture in Delft, Holland.
470 participants took part in the open
competition, which was organized after
the Bouwkunde building was destroyed
by fire in May 2008.

has been selected as a Candidate
for the European Union Prize for
Contemporary Architecture Mies van der
Rohe Award. The Award is granted every
two years by the European Union
and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe,
Barcelona, to acknowledge and reward
quality architectural production in Europe.
Candidates for the Award are put forward
by a broad group of independent experts
from all over Europe, as well as from
the architects’ associations that form
part of the European Council of Architects
and other European national
architects’ associations.

Divercity has been commissioned by Braemore
Group and SLH to design a mixed use scheme,
providing 22 residential units and a hotel
in Elia Valley, Kefalonia, Greece. The scheme
aims to create a unique place where integration
to the locality and the enchanting landscape
and sustainability play a key role.

Exhibition “Fractured Figure”

After winning in an international competition

a €100.000.000 project including

and an urban park, in Agios Kosmas, Athens.
